A clear note for grown-ups
About this
little space.
Who this companion belongs to, where its words and pictures come from, and what happens to a mark made here.
The official relationship
This is the official companion to the single Sloan’s Bedtime Lights book You Are Creative, free family reading edition. Sloan’s Bedtime Lights is the parent publisher and product platform. This site is not an independent review, another same-title book, or an official Peter Rabbit website.
Full reading, original PDFs, matching audio, and any publisher accounts or services remain on the publisher’s own website. There is no storefront, child account, login, or duplicate library here. Print and personalization ordering are unavailable.

The companion’s activity uses temporary page memory only. It does not send marks, choices, or arrangements to a server. It does not use cookies, local storage, or a database to keep them. Leaving the activity or refreshing clears them. “Keep it as it is” means leave it on the current page, not save it online.
No names, drawings, feelings, answers, or health information are collected through these activities. There are no uploads, AI interpretations, chats, public galleries, social-sharing tools, advertisements, scores, timers, or rewards. Custom activity analytics and the app’s SDK analytics are disabled.
Printing uses your browser’s print dialog. A saved PDF or printed sheet is handled by you and your device. Dedication lines are blank: add any words by hand after printing, not into this website.
Hosting and external links
Loading this website and its images requires network requests. Base44 and the infrastructure serving the files may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, and security or error logs. This companion does not claim to control or eliminate those hosting records. Their retention has not been independently verified.
The app adds no activity tracking. Hosting providers may keep technical request and security logs separately from the local activity. If you open the publisher or V&A, you leave this companion; those sites have their own privacy practices. Links open in a new tab and are labeled for assistive technology.
Words, pictures, and history
Short book quotations are labeled with their physical PDF page number. Other invitations and commentary are original companion material. They are not historical quotations, letters by Beatrix Potter, or educational or clinical assessments.
The five displayed art moments come from the published Sloan’s Bedtime Lights book: physical pages 8, 12, 16, 28, and 32. They were checked against the complete 40-page PDF. Image resizing or format conversion does not change that provenance. These are not Potter artworks. Historical illustrations are interpretive, not photographs or exact reconstructions.
The girl, Mom, and Cali belong only to the modern reflection. The paper edges and simple activity shapes are interface decoration, not historical artifacts. All displayed book illustrations are publisher originals.

You can read every invitation without making a mark. Activity controls are labeled buttons and a mark selector; keyboard users can also move a selected mark with arrow keys while the paper is focused. Drawing, dragging, hearing sound, or completing a task is never required. A blank page is a valid ending.
The design targets WCAG 2.2 AA with visible focus, generous controls, semantic headings, text alternatives, and reduced-motion support. This is a design approach, not a certification. For an access problem, a grown-up can contact the publisher. Please do not include a child’s personal information.
